We are Shutting it Down
Not tomorrow. Not next week. GENERAL STRIKE now.
We are striking. Not one workplace, not one industry. All of it.
The jobs we work and the bills we pay are part of the machine we are resisting. Our labor is the blood flow that keeps this system alive. If they are willing to hold us hostage with shutdowns, austerity, and corporate capture, then we will turn the tables. We will shut it down ourselves.
Why Now
This government is shutting down because Trump does not care about human beings: our brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, grandpas and grandmas.
He is so hateful to those he sees bellow him it is sickening. Being American is so special, they say, but he does not make citizenship easier unless you can pay millions of dollars, which is classism and racism carved into law. Federal workers are being fired or forced to work without pay. While this happens, we stand in solidarity and stop everything.
The timing matters. This is the beginning of the month. Most people have just been paid and most bills have just been paid. That gives us space to use the full month for action. A shutdown they manufactured becomes our opening.
We want nothing less than complete government reform.
What Happens if it Lasts
We united for Kimmel, now we unit for human rights.
If the strike holds past a few days, the question becomes survival. Rent, food, medicine, and utilities do not stop just because we stop working. Here is what you need to know:

Striking the Jobs Themselves
Our labor is not neutral. The corporations and agencies we work for are part of the problem. Whether it is banks, defense contractors, fossil fuel companies, or logistics giants, every paycheck is tied to the machine. By withholding that labor, we make visible what they would rather keep hidden: their dependence on us.
Striking is not just protest. It is proof of power. I am fucking tired of these talking heading going on TV and claiming THEY are speaking for the American People, they knowbwhat is best like some out of touch wannabe parent.

What We Want: 100 Percent Reform
This is not a symbolic action. This is a demand for change at the root.
Universal healthcare — no more tying life to employment or profit.
Housing as a right — end evictions, cancel rent debts, and make housing affordable.
Living wages and worker power — raise the minimum wage to $25 per hour, guarantee the right to organize everywhere, and protect strikers.
Immigration justice — end pay-to-play citizenship, abolish ICE raids, and create real pathways for all.
Climate action — stop subsidizing fossil fuels, invest in renewable infrastructure, and protect communities from climate collapse.
Voting rights and democracy — automatic voter registration, expanded ballot access, and an end to gerrymandering.
End corporate capture — no more billion-dollar subsidies while people starve. Tax the wealthy, break monopolies, and cut the pipeline of money between corporations and lawmakers.
This shutdown was never about money. It was about power, about punishing the public while billionaires skate free. Trump and his allies are willing to burn paychecks and cut off services because they do not see people, only leverage.
We refuse to live as collateral, we will shut down everything.
We will not beg for ransom. We will strike for reform. One hundred percent.
We are walking out right now. We are starting, right now. Pass this along, make phone calls, get yourself in order. It took two weeks for them to bring back Kimmel, it it going to take ALL OF US to bring back The UNITED States.
